Three generations of wine making

Wine is our tradition since the late 1960s. In our vineyards and wine cellar we work with heart and soul to get the very best out of our grapes.

Since 2008 under the leadership of wine technician Thomas May, we have been producing not only typical Mosel wines such as mineral Rieslings and sparkling Weißburgunders (Pinot Blanc) but also red wines for which this area is less known. Hand-turned, sparkling Riesling wines (Sekt) complete our range.

Wine and 'Winzervesper' - anything which would match better than this? - Convince yourself and taste our wines whilst enjoying a regional cheese and cold cuts board at our winery.

Please feel free to book your wine tasting with 'Winzervesper' by e-mail.

An overview of our quality levels:

Lagenweine (Site wines)

Characterful Prädikat wines from our best steep vineyards. The grapes come from our vineyards in a specific location (e.g. Mehringer Blattenberg) and are harvested by hand.

Ortsweine (Local wines)

Local wines with style and richness. The grapes come from our vineyards around a village - e.g. Leiwen. Particularly high-quality grapes thanks to reduced yields

Gutsweine (Estate wines)

Good quality for every occasion. The grapes come from our vineyards along the Moselle. Drinkability and enjoyment guaranteed.
